The Kansas Star Poker Room adheres to all Poker Tournament Directors Association tournament rules, a copy of which may be obtained at the poker podium. TOURNAMENT DETAILS: Tournament sign-ups will begin at 12:00pm for all players on a first come first serve basis. In fact, we have an entire newly constructed room dedicated to the art of the bluff, the bet and the win. WinStar’s 55-table poker room is situated next to the RIO Gaming Plaza, and has hosted some of the world’s greatest players. It’s also hosted tournaments with staggeringly large purses, like $3,000,000.

With no legal online poker in Kansas quite yet, The Sunflower State’s poker community take to the felts at its small but select group of land-based poker rooms. The largest poker rooms in the state are housed within Mulvane’s Kansas Star Casino and Horton’s Golden Eagle Casino. The regular tournaments at these rooms will not hit your wallet too hard, but will develop your expertise in a variety of games. Both have a full schedule of small events rotating between no-limit hold’em, limit hold’em, Omaha (PLO and eight-or-better), and stud.
